STP Group of Companies’ subsidiary and the Swiss Georg Fischer company conducted a training

Subsidiary of the STP Group of Companies - STP Polymer, which is the official distributor of the global industrial leader “Georg Fischer” company in Azerbaijan, organized with “Georg Fischer” a series of joint events, dedicated to pipeline solutions. These events provided industry experts with the opportunity to explore the latest technologies in pipeline installation and maintenance. The program of the events included a practical training held on 11 February and a scientific-technical seminar that took place on 12 February 2025. Both events gathered more than 100 participants, including engineering and technical staff, managers, customers and partners of the STP Group of Companies.

During the practical training held at the STP Polymer production facility, participants learned about the latest solutions in electrofusion fittings, welding equipment and pipeline system maintenance. Experts from “Georg Fischer” presented innovative practices aimed at ensuring the durability and reliability of pipeline systems. As part of the scientific-technical seminar, participants were introduced to “Georg Fischer”’s global practices in gas distribution and water supply systems, as well as new technologies applied in these sectors. In addition, attendees had the opportunity to watch live demonstrations of electrofusion welding and pressure testing.
