STP Heavy Engineering, subsidiary of STP Group of Companies, has manufactured the segments of a pedestrian bridge being constructed as part of the “Zaman Meydan” (Time Square) project in Baku’s “White City” district.
Set to become a landmark of White City, the pedestrian bridge spanning 8 November Avenue is expected to emerge as one of Baku’s new symbols. With a total length of 237 meters and a width ranging from 7 to 14 meters, the bridge will on the southern side at the third level of a public center, while its northern end opens into Fountains Square Park, simultaneously providing access down to “Zaman Meydan”, located along 8 November Avenue. Escalators and elevators will ensure convenient ascent and descent for pedestrians.
The bridge’s unique design combines pedestrian safety with integrated landscape elements, fully aligning with Baku’s “White City” concept, which is recognized as one of the world’s most advanced and modern environmentally sustainable urban development projects.
