How STP Group of Companies saves energy and water resources at its production sites

As part of the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World”, the STP Group of Companies once again calls for environmental protection by sharing its experience in areas such as the efficient use of production waste, as well as the minimization of energy and water consumption.

In the production process at the plants of STP Group of Companies, non-recyclable materials such as polyethylene, plastic and polycarbonate undergo reprocessing and are converted into raw materials for reuse within the production cycle. Waste that cannot be recycled is transferred to companies specializing in the collection and processing of such materials. All raw materials used in production comply with environmental standards.

At STP Group of Companies’ plants, special attention is paid to the rational use of water and electricity. In particular, special panels installed on ceilings and walls provide natural lighting by utilizing sunlight, which helps reduce electricity consumption by 3.2%. In addition, water used in production processes operates in a closed-loop system, allowing the company to save 50 to 60 tons of water per month.
