STP Group of Companies to participate in a micromobility lanes development project

The STP Polymer plant, part of the STP Group of Companies, has won a tender to act as a partner company in a project aimed at developing micromobility lanes along the streets of Baku. Under the project, with a total budget of 535,661 manats, STP Polymer will manufacture 7,000 sets of lane separators and protective elements during 2024.

Within the framework of the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World”, the STP Group of Companies calls for environmental protection, emphasizing that the reuse of production waste is a priority not only within this project but throughout all production activities of the Group of Companies. In accordance with 2040 Baku’s General Development Plan, micromobility lanes with a total length of 286 kilometers are planned to be installed, which will require the production of 120,000 sets of lane separators. Manufacturing this volume of separator sets will result in the recycling of 660 tons of waste.
