Sumgait Technologies Park LLC continues to broaden its international relations. The enterprise signed a contract with the Ukrainian company Xarkov Elektrotyajmaş for joint cooperation in the fields of engineering and industry.

According to the terms of the agreement by General Manager Emin Mammadov on behalf of Sumgait Technologies Park LLC and Deputy Director of Kharkov Elektrotyajmash Factory Dmitry Kostyu, the Parties will join efforts to promote the development of the industrial sectors of the two countries and create new technologies.

Under the terms of the agreement, both enterprises will cooperate in the training of personnel and the exchange of experts. The Ukrainian company will assist the STP in the production of many products by supplying raw materials, semi-finished products and spare parts.

The STP was commissioned by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on December 22, 2009. It is the first Technology Park of its kind in the region comprising a complex of large-scale factories specializing in various fields of production. The STP became a resident member of the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park in 2017. Being a unique project in the region, the STP fully meets the needs of the domestic market, and is able to export sufficient products to the foreign market. All factories of the techno-park are equipped with European-made laboratories and are accredited in accordance with AZS ISO/IEC 17025-2009 standards, while all the products have the relevant certificates. The STP also fully complies with the ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 international standards.
