N2XSR(AL)2Y

General information

Standard: TŞ AZ 2002283071.008 (IEC 60840) The Russian analogue : PvKaP They are used for laying on the ground and cable lines, regardless of the degree of corrosiveness (under the condition of using a sheath that meets the conditions of fire safety). These cables can be used for laying in a vertical position and in areas with potential tensile force during cable operation, in areas with landslide and seismic activity, and on frozen ground. The cables can also be installed without restrictions for level differences.

Single-core XLPE insulated, aluminum wire armored, polyethylene (PE) sheathed high voltage cable with a copper conductor

Structure:

  1. The conductor is copper, multi-wire, round and compacted; corresponds to class 2 of IEC 60228
  • The cross-section of a multi-wire compacted round conductor is 25÷800 mm2
  • The cross-section of a multi-wire compacted round conductor, consisting of 5 sectors is 1000÷1600 mm2
  1. The conductor screen is made of extruded semiconducting cross-linked polyethylene
    3. Insulation is cross-linked polyethylene (2X)
    4. Insulation screen is made of extruded semiconducting cross-linked polyethylene
    5. The separation layer is made of semi-conductive water-blocking tape
    6. The screen is of copper wires fastened with copper tape (S)

Minimum cross-section of screen for cables with a conductor cross-section of 25-120 mm2 - 16 mm2
Minimum cross-section of screen for cables with a conductor cross-section of 150-300 mm2 - 25 mm2

Minimum cross-section of screen for cables with a conductor cross-section of 400-1000 mm2 - 35 mm2
Minimum cross-section of screen for cables with a conductor cross-section of 1200 mm2 and above is 50 mm2

The maximum cross-section of screen can be set based on the customer's require.

  1. The separation layer is made of PETF tape
    8. The inner sheath is made of polyvinyl chloride
    9. The armor is made of aluminum wire
    10. The outer protective sheath is made of polyethylene (2Y)

Specifications:

  • Operating temperature of the conductor: +90ºC
  • The maximum heating temperature of the cable conductors in case of emergency: +130 ºC
  • The maximum heating temperature of the cable conductors in case of emergency: +250 ºC
  • The duration of a short circuit (not more than): 5 seconds
  • Cable laying temperature (not less than): -20 ºC
  • Ambient temperature: -60 / +50 ºC
  • Minimum bending radius of the cable: 15xD (D is outer diameter of the cable)
