ОКБб

General information

A-DF(ZN)2Y(SG)2Y/A-DF(BN)2Y(SG)2Y (ОКБб) type fiber optic cable with a double-clad laminated corrugated-steel tape for installation in cable ducts

STRUCTURAL DESIGN OF CABLE

Optical fibers are freely placed inside polymer tubes and interstice is filled with a hydrophobic gel. Polymer tubes are SZ strended around a central-strenght member. Interstice between stranded tubes is filled with hydrophobic gel and covered with PET tape. Reinforcing aramid yarns and polyethylene jacket are imposed on PET tapes. Internally jacketed cable core is sheathed with water-blocking tape, galvanized steel tape, and water-blocking tape again. Next, the core is sheathed with high-density polyethylene.
